Connecting your data sources

What each connector unlocks, and why more sources means a higher-confidence score, not just a longer list.

Read-only, always

Every connector in Kompena is read-only. Nothing is ever written back to Shopify, Google Ads, Meta or any other connected platform: the engine reads snapshots and computes from them.

What each source unlocks, and what does not read yet

Reading today: Google Analytics 4 anchors the website and marketing categories, and Google Ads unlocks paid search inside marketing plus the attribution checks in tracking. Both come from one Google login. Six more need no login at all and read from your first day: the crawl of your own site, Core Web Vitals, search results, Domain Rating, and the two public ad archives from Meta and Google, which show your live ads next to your competitors' and feed part of brand.

Not reading yet: Shopify, Meta Ads, Search Console, Klaviyo, Trustpilot and Google Trends can be connected today, but their readings are not built. They deliver nothing until they are, and the score says which categories it could not measure rather than quietly scoring them as zero. Eight of our fifteen connectors fetch real numbers; we would rather write that down than let a plan card imply otherwise.

You don't need every source to start

The free audit runs on public, outside-in signals alone, with no login required. Connecting sources moves the score from estimated to verified and unlocks value estimates and the full prioritised roadmap.

More sources, higher confidence

Confidence isn't just cosmetic: it reflects how much of the score rests on verified data versus segment priors. Each source you connect narrows that gap.
